HIGHLY recommend Certified Restoration! I have never experienced such a high level of customer service -anywhere. Tad coordinated all activities related to the water leak -first time I had experience such a disaster. He walked me through what to expect and provided information to questions I hadn't even asked yet. Each team member working in my home was professional, courteous, and helpful. Paulo, Tyler, and Ulysses were invaluable with all the help they provided. In my wildest dreams, I would never expect such top notch service in the midst of my small disaster. Tad and team really helped me stay level with all the chaos -especially the insurance piece. Also incredible attitudes all around. Thank you for ALL your help and kindness! Special shout out to Michael for assembling an incredible crew and anyone I may have missed mentioning by name.

I recently had some water damage due to a storm and Michael came to the rescue. I made a call to him late at night and he took the time to walk me through the process and assure me they would take care of it ASAP. He came over the next day as promised and was very informative. He was straight to the point and did not beat around the bush. Customer service skills were exceptional from the minute I spoke to him to the time the job was done. Certified Restoration saved me on cost and prevented any further damage to my home. I will definitely be referring people to Certified Restoration when they need the job done right. Thanks Michael.

This business is amazing! Highly recommended! I called for an urgent (same day) restoration due to a water leak on a Sunday and spoke with Tad. He was great to work with and made everything very easy from the beginning to end. The level of professionalism is on point and the continuous communication was very much appreciated. Tomas and his partner came out to do the restoration that Sunday. They did an amazing job from cleaning out the damages to tidying up the space and helping with the leak. Overall, great team and a great company.

Overall great company to deal with. They were called in when my condo was flooded by a main line backup. They arrived promptly and quickly got to work. Tomas, the lead technician that day, explained everything they were doing and what the next steps would look like. They were extremely accommodating and over the next few days, Tad the manager, kept communicating what was happening next. They also worked hand in hand with a 3rd party that came in to get rid of asbestos that had been detected in the sheet rock. If you need water abatement, look no further. Highly recommend!

What is flood damage restoration?

When it comes to flood damage restoration, it’s important to act quickly. Water damage-related crises can cause irreparable damage to your property and your belongings and lead to future problems, like mold infestation and structural damage. Since water damage can lead to long-term damage of your property, we strongly recommend working with an experienced flood damage restoration team for your water removal cleanup.

The flood damage restoration process involves the following steps:

  1. Flood damage inspection: Assessment to determine what action needs to be taken in order to correct water damage. From there, our technicians will evaluate whether there are any safety hazards involved, and safely removing those furnishings and possessions that are salvageable and disposing of those items that have been damaged beyond repair,
  2. Water extraction: Once the area has been prepped and all of your items and valuables have been removed from the work area, we will work to control the water damage by removing all standing water as quickly as possible. Once all water has been removed, technicians will check wet areas on walls, floors and ceilings to assist in the drying process,
  3. Water damage control & drying: Technicians will employ commercial equipment, like dehumidifiers, air movers, wood floor drying equipment, and heaters to dry the air in the affected area. Technicians will then continue to monitor the area until all moisture has been removed and there is no possibility of mold growth,
  4. Flood damage reassessment: Once dry, a technician will return to your property to re-assess water damage to make sure no hidden moisture remains and there is no evidence of mold,
  5. Flood damage reconstruction: If water damage caused any structural damage that needs replacing, a reconstruction team will perform the necessary repairs.,

Why you should hire an experienced water removal cleanup team?

In the aftermath of a flood, the last thing you want to do is overlook some element of the removal and cleanup process. Even the slightest oversight can potentially lead to long-term issues, like mold infestation. Although up-front costs may be intimidating, hiring an experienced water removal cleanup team to address your flood damage may, in fact, end up saving you money in the long run.

What to expect during water removal cleanup:

  1. Quick response time and expertise: The single-most important element of dealing with flood damage is time. In the amount of time it would take you to figure out what you need to do (and not do), an experienced water removal cleanup team can already be on-site and started on water removal cleanup. An experienced water removal cleanup professional can also help you evaluate the extent of flood damage and determine whether those items with water damage can be repaired, or need to be replaced.
  2. Safe (and complete) mold removal: During the restoration process, one of the biggest concerns of both restoration professionals and homeowners is mold growth. In addition to being an eyesore for those who have to look at it, mold can cause significant damage to your family and tenants. One of the greatest benefits of working with an experienced water removal cleanup team is that professionals can not only identify and remove mold infestations, but help prevent mold growth in the future.
  3. Minimize costs and losses: If an experienced and professional water removal cleanup team is able to respond to your flood quickly, they may be able to minimize the extent of water damage, protect your valuables and items against total-loss, and prevent water from escaping into other areas of your home and save you the hassle and financial burden of having to replace, furniture, appliances, and other valuables.
  4. Professional equipment and tools: An experienced water removal cleanup team has high-quality and professional tools to quickly and completely remove flood damage.
Additional tips for flood damage removal:

Regardless of whether you decide to work with a professional flood cleanup team, or try and remove the water damage yourself, there are several steps you can take immediately after a flood to minimize the damage incurred by unwanted water.

  • If you have an opportunity to move furniture and valuable possessions off the ground before flood waters hit, do so to reduce the chance of your items being damaged irreparably,
  • Depending upon the number of contaminants contained within the flood water, ensure everyone leaves the property. Flood water is potentially a health hazard and can make people sick, and
  • Try and turn off electricity and gas to limit the risk of gas leaks or electrical charges in the water
