Founder and owner of Certified Restoration, Michael began his career in the cleaning and restoration industry over 20 years ago and has been a business owner since 1988. Michael has completed hundreds of cleaning restoration projects, working with property managers, insurance agents and adjusters, plumbers, roofers and homeowners. Michael’s philosophy of taking care of customers is the foundation for Certified Restoration’s customer-focused service.Michael holds numerous certificates with the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). He regularly takes continuing education classes in all areas of the restoration industry.When he’s not working Michael indulges his love of motorcycles.
George’s expertise in marketing, management and building high powered teams has guided Certified Restoration’s accelerated business growth and commitment to customer service. Involved in day to day operations, George focuses especially on Internet marketing and social media.After earning a bachelor’s degree in computer science from University of California, San Diego, he spent 18 years living in Europe, where he served as Vice President, International Operations for eXcelon, a software firm. In 2009, he moved back to San Diego to help Mike manage and expand Certified Restoration.George enjoys gardening and travel and is fluent in English, Greek and Spanish.

Background: New to the restoration industry, previous skills include- Corporate Marketing, 9 years of Excellent Customer Service, Social Media, Dispatch, DASH, office administration.
Certifications: Communication degree from SDSU with an emphasis in marketing and public speaking, Green Specialization in Real Estate Consultation and other businesses
Outside Hobbies: Avid surfer and snowboarder, 15 years as a local musician, studying to be a sommelier
Favorite thing about CRI: Rebranding CRI was a great adventure and new opportunity to develop myself and the company making the leap into the modern era of conservation (going green) and becoming a technology proficient business. I am happy to have a lasting impact on the way we conduct business.

Started Working at CRI: June 2013
Position: Lead Technician
Background: 20+ years of working in the restoration industry
Certifications: Asbestos, Mold, Flood, and Fire Remediation, IICRC, years of contents experience
Outside Hobbies: Lakes, Boating, Fishing, Soccer and Baseball.
In the industry since 2002, Drew has completed hundreds of mold remediation projects. He is at the top of his field. Drew is Certified Restoration’s expert at diagnosing mold problems and determining the remedies, making technical information understandable for everyone.He is Microbial Remediation Supervisor certified through the American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC) and certified as a Water Damage Restoration Technician by Clean Trust. He is also a member of the Indoor Air Quality Association. Drew lives for the outdoors, enjoying golfing, snowboarding, and other activities.
Tad is the most recent technician to join Certified Restoration staff, starting in early 2012. He enjoys working on cars and skateboarding in his free time.
When Leo is not sleeping (which he does a lot) he can be found supervising the staff, fetching the mail and greeting guests and employees to the office with his favorite toy (a stuffed teddy bear) in his mouth and a wag of his tail.Leo likes to play in water and fetching a ball. His favorite game is “chase me.” He is fluent in dog.

Jack gives Certified Restoration the advantage of being prepared should a disaster occur. He developed our Business Continuity Plan, because it’s not a question of if something will happen, but when. With over 30 years of practical experience, Jack is principal of the San Diego office of Firestorm, part of a national leader in business continuity and disaster readiness. He has a special focus on business continuity planning and implementation. Jack is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) though Disaster Recovery Institute International.
Frankie, an expert in business development, has trained Certified Restoration marketing and sales staff in building business relationships with property managers and insurance agents. Like other clients across the country that he consults for, Certified Restoration benefits from Frankie’s knowledge and expertise in direct marketing. With his help, Certified Restoration has developed programs pertaining specifically to each industry.
